13 Percent Bias Cases Upheld by U.S. Job Unit
President Eisenhower's Committee on Government Employment reports it recommended corrective action in 13 percent of 238 discrimination cases filed in the past 18 months. Ninety five percent of complaints came from Negro workers. 33 percent cited failure to secure promotions. The panel, aimed at enforcing non discrimination in federal employment, held regional conferences in 27 cities with nearly 3000 top administrators attending for the period Jan 18, 1958, to June 30, 1959.

Graham Opens Crusade At His Alma Mater
