Polio warns against lowering vaccination guard nationwide
U S health experts say pockets of polio exist in every metropolitan area and urge vigilance despite a record low 10 paralytic polio cases this year. About 30 percent of children ages 1 to 4 remain unvaccinated, mainly in low socioeconomic regions, risking outbreaks if momentum fades.
