Berkshire Community College seeks county aid for computer bill

Berkshire Community College has informed Hand County that it will present a bill to the county government for 10,000 dollars for a computer installation at the college before year’s end. This relieves the county from carrying over the amount to the 1970 budget. The sum is part of a 256,826 dollar computer center funded largely by a supplemental grant from the New England Regional Commission. An installed General Electric computer costs 124,753 dollars with a 24,900 dollar GE contribution already noted. A second computer will complete the center.
