Conn River Development Hearings Set Across Region
Public hearings on a five year multimillion dollar Connecticut River comprehensive study begin tonight at Mahar Regional High School Orange and Keeney Central High School NH. Sessions run 8 to 10 with maps shown beforehand. The plan covers recreation development flood control flood plain zoning and open space retention. Formal hearings will occur this fall as the Army Corps of Engineers chairs the commission and oversees work on a $3.3 million project.
