Peace Corps Trainees Wed in Hawaii Waiver Needed for Quick Marriage
Two Peace Corps volunteers from Massachusetts, Robert R. Carter and Rosemary O Connor, married in Honolulu after a rapid process guided by the governor's office and health and court authorities. They met at UMass, trained on Hawaii, and plan a two year teaching assignment in the Philippines.

In Pittsfield District Court Vincent J. Sanginetti Paul F. Miller and Christine R. Jastram were fined 20 each for driving 10 endanger. Miller and Jastram entered no lo cont nd pleas. Sanginetti’s car hit Lawrence Battavnd at North and Summer Streets on Aug 28. Miller was in a two car crash at Route 7 and Bull Hill Road Aug $ in Lanesboro. Jastram was cited after a Tamarack Road curve rollover Aug 24. Other defendants paid parking or speeding fines including Borgo Fitzgibbons Coon Coyle Schlick Placido and Allen Barnini.
