Rep. Dave N. Vigneault, 28, from Springfield, and James Donovan, 29, of Boston, spent eight hours in a Mississippi jail after refusing to leave the Neshoba County courthouse while civil rights voters were being registered. They pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace and disobeying an officer, paid $30 in fines, and returned to Jackson.
