Dismissal of Indictments Sought in Drug Law Cases
Attorneys for five youths charged with marijuana and LSD offenses ask the Superior Court to dismiss indictments claiming lower court jurisdiction. The defendants from Brookline Noank and Garden City faced district court arraignments after Lee arrests in September and October and a six month continuance by Special Justice Hannon. Defense argues district court concurrent jurisdiction with Superior Court and that Hannon took proper jurisdiction, seeking dismissal of charges on that basis.
