Brown's Alaskan Diggings Uncover Earliest Houses
Providence AP reports Brown University expedition led by Prof Froesich Rainey uncovered three ancient circular houses in the Ko buk River area of northwest Alaska near the Arctic Circle. Flint knives aged about 8,000 years were found with remains from a 4,000 year old level and a third hut below them, suggesting early migration routes between Alaska and Siberia.
