Golden Age Club Hears Songs At YMCA Meeting

Mrs. R D Bousquet entertained 203 members with a program of songs at the Golden Age Club gathering at the YMCA. Mrs Florence M Cote accompanied, with opening by president Mrs Anna M Flynn and a community sing led by several officers and members. New member Antoinette Callan welcomed, Julia Yobis a guest. Secretary Emmie Snow, treasurer W Arthur Shaver reported.

Joint Legion Post and Auxiliary install officers in Chester

Harris-Miller Post of the American Legion and its Auxiliary held a joint installation Thursday in Town Hall. County Cmdr. John D. Gath installed Berard Boomsma as commander and Mrs Mary Muskie installed Arlene E4 as unit president.
