16 Year Old Boy Held for Arson In Lowell Fire
A 16 year old Lowell Trade High School sophomore faces a juvenile court arraignment after allegedly admitting to setting 24 fires over the past year. Police linked him to a Sunday Pratt and Forest Lumber Co blaze. He was found near the scene, questioned, and said the fires were spur of the moment as he was mad at the world. Prior fires include a five-building Dutton Street complex destroyed in a $500000 blaze on Aug 15, garages and 12 cars at $50000 on Aug 22, and two tenement houses in a $250000 fire on Aug 40.
