Downtown Assn Seeks Funds For Yale Lights
Pittsfield Downtown Association seeks nonmember contributions to cover the 1500 cost of Christmas decorations. Executive secretary Edward Ediff says the city should not fund the project due to tax burdens, noting last year city support covered about 325. Decorations benefit the entire downtown area and the appeal targets nonmember firms.
