High Court Denies UK Protesters Appeal
The Supreme Court, in a 7-1 decision, refused to hear four University of Kentucky student protesters who blocked a university office used by the Defense Intelligence Agency for recruiting interviews. They were fined 74 dollars and Kentucky courts dismissed their breach of peace claim as unconstitutional vagueness. Justice Douglas alone would have heard the case.
