Stewardship Sunday Observed At Second Church
Stewardship Sunday will be observed this week at the Second Congregational Church. A team of women from the stewardship committee will call on members and friends to seek pledges for 1964 church work. Those who have not pledged to the remodeling fund will have a chance to do so, said Rev. Harold L. Nevers. Chairmen are Mrs. Laburn B. Austin and Mrs. David H. Dillard. Captains include Mrs. James J. Bownes, Mrs. Walter J. Denny, Mrs. Sammy Kennedy, Mrs. William E. Moore, Mrs. Lawrence P. Caesar, Mrs. Andrew J. Powell, Mrs. Wilbert Stockton, and Mrs. Charles P. Wilson.

Dental Society to Hear Talk by Dr Hashim
Dr. George J. Hashim will speak at the Berkshire District Dental Society dinner meeting on November 18 at the Stanley Club at 7 p.m. His topic is Principles of Practice Administration. Wives assistants and hygienists are invited as the talk will interest them. Dr Hashim, a Fall River native who grew up in Pittsfield, studied at Williston Academy the University of Vermont and St Louis University School of Dentistry. Dr Stanley H Norton will preside.
