Tufts Panel Sees More Black Jobs on Campus
Tufts University faculty committee says construction work for a dormitory on campus could soon add more Black workers. Volpe Construction has been urged to increase minority employment, with 11 current workers from minority groups and a demand for at least 21. Afro-American students resumed picketing at the site after peaceful calls and a vote by the faculty against suspending the project until November 17.
