New York GE IUE Talks End With No Progress

In New York mediators met GE and IUE negotiators for the first time in the nationwide strike against General Electric Co. There was no position change as talks from 10 to 12:40 focused on both sides’ stances. The IUE has 88,500 members in 65 GE locals. UE adds 22,40 GE employees in 27 locals.
