The St Peter's Church parish center in Great Barrington will be officially dedicated this afternoon at 2 with Bishop Christopher J Weldon of Springfield presiding. The $390000 project, built over 16 months, features an 850-seat auditorium with a vinyl floor, a 500-seat end stage, a dining capacity of 590, a $10000 kitchen, four classrooms on the west and two below, and air conditioned audio visual space.

The largest all electric apartment development in New England is planned by General Electric Co and First Hartford Realty Corp of Manchester Conn. They sign to build a 500 unit community in West Haven Conn as part of a $12 million urban renewal program. A new corporation General Hartford Inc formed by GE and First Hartford will direct construction on a 42.2 acre Long Island Sound site near a shopping center recreation area and city marina golf course and pool.
