Mental Retardation Film To Be Shown To Jaycees
A film on mental retardation titled Special Olympics will be shown at the Greater Pittsfield Jaycees meeting tomorrow night at 7 30 at Chris to s. Richard Galloway, chairman of the chapter s mental health program, said the Kennedy Foundation sponsors the film and recently gave Massachusetts Jaycees a 10000 grant for mental retardation programs. William Cox of Boston, state chairman for Jaycee mental retardation, will conduct the meeting.

Moray Robert Lee Griffin 35 of North Adams fined 50 for carrying a loaded gun and trespassing after a restaurant incident on North Street. Officer found a .22 pistol in his rear pocket. Bruce Amidon 19 of Boston fined 50 for driving to endanger. other charges largely dismissed or continued. Dr Amber Starbuck, 90, longtime Middlefield resident and planner who helped adopt the town zoning code, died at Pittsfield General. She practiced medicine in Springfield for six decades before retiring to Big House. She led child welfare efforts, served with the probation office, donated land for town use, and was active in many societies. Funeral is in Springfield with burial at Springdale.
