Heart Fund drive tops Massachusetts campaign totals in 1965
Massachusetts ranks fifth nationally in the 1965 Heart Fund effort with $1,205,827 reported so far, up $252,228 from the same point last year. Secretary of State Kevin White lauds more than 56,000 volunteers as Heart Sunday closes the February drive. An art show at North Junior High tonight features work by seventh and eighth graders, directed by Francis Lipari and Paula Zisk, from 7 34 to 9 3. The event showcases drawings paintings masks and collages with students present. Heart Neighbors raised $481 286 on February 28, $43,322 more than last year.
