Mount Washington exceeded its Red Cross campaign goal in 1969 with contributions totaling $182 led by chairman Mrs. James E. Whitbeck. Across 12 county towns not in United Fund drives, $1,786 has been raised toward a $3,080 target. Cheshire and Tyringham had already hit their goals.
Pittsfield General Unit lists patients receiving treatment with names and home addresses. Entries include Sean M. Smith Elmer L. Smith Jr Great Barrington and Karen A. Blake Hinsdale with listed residences, plus numerous others noting children and spouses and several operation or tonsillectomy indications.
Judge Frank W. Cimini presided as multiple motor vehicle and narcotics cases were continued or dismissed. Names include Peter Nykorchuk of Highland Avenue and Terrance Tart of Greylock Terrace with dates set to May 9 to May 12. A juvenile and several others listed with residences were also queued for continuances or dismissal.
