GE Athletic Association Holds 26th Kiddies Day
The General Electric Athletic Association will stage its 26th Kiddies Day on June 28 at the club grounds off Crane Avenue. Co chairs Ralph J. Freio and James Hassett say the event runs 11 a.m. to 4:50 p.m with registration from 10 a.m. Children receive a ticket block at registration and enjoy four rides along with pie and watermelon contests. The Pittsfield Imperial Junior Drum and Bugle Corps will give an exhibition.

Rev Coleman Named Director of Camp Sumner CIT Program
Rev Mr Coleman formerly of Miss Halls School in Massachusetts will direct the counselor-in-training program at Camp Sumner this season. He has directed vacation church schools and day camps in Carlisle Pennsylvania and Johnsonburg New Jersey and holds an Eagle Scout rank. He will oversee all phases including overnight trips and supervise 15 boys entering 10th and 11th grades. Programs cover swimming boating archery campcraft nature crafts and team sports with openings for high school boys. Session A runs June 30 to July 25 and Session B runs July 28 to August 22.
