Proposed Site For High School To Be Studied
The High School Commission will meet with architect William Freeman tonight to discuss recommendations on a site for the proposed comprehensive high school. Freeman will present a scorecard evaluation of four sites chosen by the City Council, focusing on soil, sewage facilities, and access roads. The meeting at the Berkshire County Courthouse begins at 7 30.

The Berkshire County Rotary Clubs will sponsor a Pittsfield Berkshire Red Sox game at Wahconah Park on Tuesday July 6 to raise funds for Camp Eagle Boy Scout camp on October Mountain. Pierce, born 1888 in Worthing England, is related to Sgt Reginald Kershaw who helped found Boy Scouting. his family history and Scouting lineage are discussed in detail.

School Supt Reynolds Joins Western MA Economic Education Council
School Superintendent James P. Reynolds is named to the board of the Western Massachusetts Economic Education Council, a Springfield based group of 34 education business labor agriculture and government representatives. It will fund in service training for teachers in economics and provide workshops and consulting, coordinating efforts to boost economic studies in schools. Eleven sponsors have joined the program and a 25400 dollar four county budget is being raised to launch activities.

Judge Warns Mrs Carpenter In Assault Case
James Carpenter of 94 Fourth St was charged with assault on his wife but the District Court dismissed the case after Judge Frank W. Cimini warned the wife not to lie in court. She admitted fabricating claims and said she sought revenge. Carpenter, father of eight, was said to have a job and the judge dismissed the case reluctantly.
