Minischool aids disturbed children in Berkshire
A private mini school for 10 children with severe emotional disturbances, started in February at First Congregational Church in Pittsfield, plans a six week summer session and seeks a $50,000 federal grant. The program, run by 24 local parents and two Adams teachers, aims to prepare students for entry into public schools and to prove autism care can be effective.
