The Shady Rest: DeChaines Build Lanesboro Eatery
In Lanesboro Route 7 a family affair creates The Shady Rest a small all electric restaurant. Patrick DeChaine and five children convert a former garage into a 40 seat cafe serving breakfasts and plate dinners. The family handles most work with one outside hire and plans an enclosed front patio. Open 6:30 am to 11 pm with burgers and eggs featuring Pat’s breakfast specialty.
