Berkshire Medical Center adds third image intensifier
Berkshire Medical Center has acquired its third image intensifier to meet rising fluoroscopic exams. St Luke's and Pittsfield General units now house machines, with the latest GE model used mainly for gastro intestinal tract studies. The device improves image quality, speeds exams and cuts radiation by one third to one half.
