UCS Committee Seeks Chairman for Fall Drive
The United Community Services committee met at the Stanley Club for a Dutch treat luncheon. Chair Albert S. Silverman asked members to choose a chairman for next fall to support 24 health welfare and recreation agencies following the recently completed United Fund drive led by Luke Hayden. The 12-member committee comprises business leaders with past chairmanships and helps shape campaign and budget policies.
