Amherst Books Stolen by Students During Library Takeover
Amherst College faced a campus dispute after occupying students moved more than 300 books from the Robert Frost Library to the Black Culture Center. The group urged new programs, a joint five-college Afro American studies school, and targeted staffing and admission goals across Smith Mount Holyoke Amherst and UMass.
