Town Appropriations Rise 6.1 Percent in Cummington Vote
Voters at a town meeting appropr iated 181144 41 dollars an increase of 1 percent over last year The largest non school item was 34975 for a new fire truck The truck vote passed 60 13 after a secret ballot request was denied Four thousand nine hundred seventy five from the appropriation ten thousand from the stabilization fund and twenty thousand to be borrowed The town also formed a special committee to study water in Cummington and West Cummington with members Molenson Thayer and Wolf to report by June 1 at a special town meeting.
