Miami police officer named as Officer of the Year
AP reports Robert Ingram, a 33 year old Black sergeant with the Miami Police Department, is named Miami’s Outstanding Officer of the Year. Ingram, a former Army veteran, earns $932 a month as a vice squad sergeant and says police work helps improve the community where he and his family live. He received a $1,000 award and a plaque Thursday.
