Soundproofed Doctors Offices Redo In East Street Building
The East Street Medical Building underwent a ten week remodel to create near silent interiors. Wood panel walls with isolated studs and sealed doors eliminate noise between rooms while acoustical ceilings and blocked light fixtures reduce transmission. A new wing, walnut finishes, lead-lined fluoroscopy walls, two heavy doors, air conditioning, and a modern in-house laboratory accompany nine physicians including Dr. Budnitz and Dr. Tulgan.
