26 Billion Rise In Output If Taxes Slashed
Washington AP predicts that prompt tax cuts could lift national output by 26 billion dollars next year to about 610 billion. Gerhard Colm of the National Planning Association, former senior economist to the President's Council, says the forecast assumes a tax bill passing in early 1964 with retroactivity to Jan 1. If the assumption fails, growth would be substantially lower.
