U.S. Plans Airborne TV Network for South Vietnam

UPI reports Representative Charles Chamberlain says a TV network using an airborne transmitter will start small on January 21 and aims to reach most of South Vietnam by year end 1966. The plan, run jointly by U.S. and South Vietnamese governments, will use the US Armed Forces Radio Service with two channels including a Vietnamese language station, at an estimated cost of 1.4 million dollars.
