New Hampshire's First Native Wine Faces Easter Debut
Belmont winemaker John J Canepa plans New Hampshire s first native wine ready by Easter. He has organized 22 farmers into an association and personally planted and pruned thousands of vines to support local vineyards. If approved the wine will be distributed through state liquor stores with possible direct sales at the winery.
