Felix Tagliaferro 77 of West Springfield a former Pittsfield resident died Wednesday at Wesson Memorial Hospital Born in Italy April 30 1890 he was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Carlo Tagliaferro He worked at Gilbert and Barker Manufacturing Co as a foundry worker and was a member of the 45 Year Club Survivors include five nieces and three nephews all of Pittsfield The funeral and burial were this morning in West Springfield Bearers included James Tagliaferro Louis Tagliaferro and Joseph Binelli of Pittsfield

Three Civil Suit Settlements In Rubber Tire Case
Superior Court settlements end two lawsuits over rubber for tire capping. Gates Rubber Co. sued Tire Distributing Inc. for 2916 dollars for unpaid rubber order. Tire Distributing then sued Gates for 10000 dollars alleging breach of warranty. Pittsfield firm said rubber quality caused tire replacements. A separate Parslow v DiGregorio case in Boston settled for undisclosed amount in Parslows’ favor after a two car crash on Aug 22 1964.
