Lenox House Expands To Meet Dining Demand
Lenox House on Pittsfield Lane expands capacity from 80 to 280 amid rapid demand. Owners Donald Shaker and Robert George added a 53 by 3 foot Gold Room with its own bar and flexible divisions. The expansion, designed by Richard Zacari, features walnut paneling, acoustic ceiling, and views of rolling hills. Plans include a spring fed pool, new landscaping, and parking lot changes to support continued growth on the Pittsfield Lenox Road.

Eye Shades Cut Heat Through Window Walls
Architects control the weather by shading windows with screens to admit less heat. Light weight western red cedar serves as ideal long lasting lumber for shade screens used over window walls.
