New York Motorist Fined After U Turn Crash
A New York driver, Martin Levine of Schenectady, was fined 43 in district court after performing a U turn near the Textile Store on North Street and colliding with scooter rider William J. Wilbur of 289 Fenn Street. The Aug. 1 mishap injured Wilbur, who is 70, and Levine pleaded guilty after initially refusing to plead. Police said the accident occurred in front of a No U Turn sign.
