Pal Joey at Williamstown dazzles despite cast flaws
Review lauds Nikos Psacharopoulos for a polished Williamstown production of Pal Joey. Waddell and Eames show limitations in singing and coarseness, yet Darnell’s dynamic dancing, Sarno and Sprague's performances, Rubinstein’s score, Button’s costumes, and Hendrickson’s imaginative sets elevate the show beyond its drawbacks.
