Skyline’s New Golf Course Draws Local Scorn and Praise
Skyline Country Club, perched a mile north of the Pittsfield Lanesboro line, opens under Pete Asci after three years of work. Despite poor roadside visibility and initial skepticism, the nine holes measure 3404 yards from back tees, with uphill pars and two long par fives. Bill Murray praises the greens while noting room for fairway growth. Asci labors daily, hoping crowds grow enough to justify staff and play.
