Third Buddhist Self Immolation in South Viet Nam Protests

On Sunday August 13 1961 East Germany sealed off Berlin with the wall to stop refugees. West Berlin registered a refugee every 40 seconds the day before and 36415 fled in July. Tanks armed troops and barbed wire protected the border as thousands of West Berliners demanded removal of the barrier. Bricklayers began work two days later.
