Seven-year-old boy dies in Route 102 bicycle collision
South Lee mourns Sean Abraham Taylor aged 7 after he rode from a driveway into a Stockbridge highway department truck on Route 102. The driver, Karl G. Cooper of Maple Hill Road, Glendale, was in shock and escorted home. Taylor, a first grader at South Lee School, died at the scene of head injuries. Police and officials from Stockbridge and the Registry of Motor Vehicles investigated. Funeral arrangements were set for Kelly Funeral Home with Rev. Leslie T. Francis officiating.

C Elliott Sanford of Honey Hill Road Canaan died Tuesday night after recent surgery at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn New York. A retired salesman he lived in Canaan about five years with wife, daughter Mrs Tan McCann of Floral Park New York, and two grandsons. Private funeral services will be held in Floral Park. Memorial contributions optional to Canaan Methodist Church.
