Pretty June Wedding at home southwest of city

At their home on Wednesday evening June 16 Miss Edna Banna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Banna, married James Clifford Harwood of Garrison Iowa with Rev S S Hilscher of Vinton officiating. Gerald Palmer and Donald Hanna led the bridal party as Edna walked with her father. Lola Banna presided at the piano as guests viewed a three course luncheon prepared by the bride and her family. About 125 guests attended from Greely Iowa Mt. Vernon Iowa LaPorte City and Chicago with the couple to reside in Garrison.

Justice F W Eversmeyer Unites Two Young People

At 4:30 yesterday afternoon at 209 East Third Street Justice F W Eversmeyer officiated the marriage of John A Murphy and Miss Man Houck in a simple ceremony witnessed by G L Hahn and Mollie Winke. The groom works as a button cutter. The bride moved from Vinton Iowa and has many friends there awaiting her happiness. The couple will live in Davenport for the time being, per the Davenport Democrat report.
