Christian Church Reopened After Enlargement and Rededication
The Christian church was enlarged and redecorated last Sunday with Prof. A. M. Haggard of Drake University present to preach three strong sermons. The final balance of 1350 was raised, seating now five to six hundred, and the basement offers a reception room dining hall kitchen and furnace rooms. Regular services are at 10 30 a m and 8 p m each Sunday with a cordial invitation to attend.

Woman of Davenport Hangs Herself in Anamosa Prison
Mrs Behrens of Davenport, convicted in Scott county for the murder of her husband, hanged herself in the Anamosa penitentiary.
