Des Moines January 11 The Iowa Supreme Court freed Marshalltown buggy maker Carmean from a two year term for embezzlement after ruling no evidence tied him directly to the crediting error. The decision held his accountability civil rather than criminal and noted a clerk’s mistake and system issues.
