Republican nibbles at state costs amid repairs dispute
It is Mistaken. It is costing as much money to run the state institutions as it ever did, and probably a little more. If a little money has been saved here and there it is because the needed repaica h have not been made and because coats of paint have been omitted. The Republican must know that it misrepresents the facts when it says the above. It is well known that the $103,000 and over that was saved by the board of control has nothing whatever to do with needed repairs and coats of paint. The Republican must be Hubbardized like the Eagle. There must be the usual chronic republican pain in the Republican's system usually found when economy is practised. Or is it to assist in preparing the next legislature to a continuation of the 3 mill tax? To insure a happy new year, keep the liver clear and the body vigorous by using De Witt's Little Early Risers, the famous little pills for constipation and liver trouble. J. 8. Brubaker.
