Ladies Aid Social Delights Members and Families
The Ladies' Aid Society of the Methodist Church hosted a social at Mr. and Mrs. A. Hines residence on Thursday evening. Attendees enjoyed musical selections readings and recitations followed by ice cream and cake. The program featured Mrs. L. E. Harshs Transform Remote Homestead Into Cultivated Farm
Mr and Mrs J T Harsh purchased the old Frank Trinka place two miles northwest of town and transformed it from sagebrush and mesquite into a thriving farm. They built a cosy dwelling and farm buildings, cleared and fenced much land, and put it under cultivation through persistent labor to bring the property to the front.
