Improved Farm Sold Near St. David Bridge
Mr. Thos McKinney disposed of his 160 acre farm six miles south of town near the St David bridge. Purchaser is Lee Ramsey from the Sulphur Springs valley near Douglas. The Carr place, bought three years ago by McKinney, includes twenty head of cattle work stock and farm implements. Price not published but believed near $100 an acre.

Young People's Society reorganized at Benson Methodist
A Benson Methodist church meeting of the Young People’s Society was held Tuesday evening. Initiated by J F Graham, the society reorganized with Harold Holcomb as president, Margaret Wilson as vice president, and Vada Clark as secretary-treasurer. A social session followed with games and refreshments. The group meets Sundays at 6:30 for devotional exercises and every third Tuesday for business.

A popular couple, Leonard Durnal and Blanche Jennings, wed Monday evening in Tombstone with parental attendance. The groom is son of Mrs. T. H. A reception followed at the bride’s home, and they left Wednesday for Thanksgiving with the groom’s sister near Winkelman.

Goetz Store Expansion Nears Completion
Outside work on the new Goetz store building is nearly finished and interior progress is strong. The addition will double the storeroom size and feature up to date fixtures. Electric lighting will be improved and a new cement sidewalk fronts the building.
