Fenton High Plans Expanded Summer School Attendance
Fenton High will run six weeks from June 16 to July 31 with four hours daily five days a week. Students may earn credits in one or two subjects and seniors may take a fifth subject next fall if they attend summer school. Nonresidents may enroll. courses include drivers education, tennis, geology, architectural drawing and recreation. Registration is handled by the administrative office.

DuPage approves compromise multi family building code
The DuPage County Board of Supervisors passed an updated Standard for construction of multi family dwellings in unincorporated areas and in towns with lax local codes. The changes lower architect requirements for smaller buildings and reduce wall fire rating from two hours to one and a half, while removing sound transmission rules for now.

Four Fenior High grads to be honored at memorial assembly
Four former Fenior High School students killed in Vietnam will be honored at a 10 a.m. assembly with a plaque bearing their names. Lance Cpl. Conrad Lange of Wood Dale Sgt. Phillip Essig Pfc. John Heaps and Sgt. Alan Marshall of Bensenville died in 1967 1968 and 1969. Parents will attend the ceremony at the school.
