Village president Wilbert Nottke outlines a referendum or scrapping of the $1 million Prospect Thorndale sewer line to serve the industrial park. CMD would finance the project with payback from tap-on fees and a 20 year tax levy plan, with 1 517 acres to be served and a potential annexation. Knuepfer serves on multiple committees and co-chairs local government.
