He served with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam and was wounded in September losing a left leg and sustaining injuries to his right leg. He has received treatment at Fitzsimmons Denver and continues care at Hines Veterans Hospital in Illinois before returning to Colorado January 15.

Itasca police report three men aged 20 to 30 allegedly stole 926.98 from a unattended cash register at Pans Food Store 900 W. Irving Park Rd Itasca. A witness saw six men. police describe one suspect 5 ft 2 in, 120 pounds, brown hair in a grey jacket. They fled in a late model Chevrolet.
