Bennington Selectmen Split Over Tree Care Pledge

Minority leader J Duncan Campbell urged town influence on private tree cuts and spoke of a unified board stance. Three members rejected any board role in private property decisions while Drysdale dismissed tree value as “lousy trees” and declared it none of the boards business.
