Second Korean named in lobbying scheme indictment

A federal indictment in Washington accuses Hancho Kim, a cosmetics merchant and naturalized U.S. citizen living in Lanham Maryland, of conspiring to influence Congress with KCIA funds in a plan called Operation White Snow. A Baltimore grand jury also charged Kim and his wife with 1974 and 1975 income tax evasion, linking the timing to alleged KCIA cash deliveries.
